Why did we announce in December 2016 that FIFA 17 won’t be ready until the last quarter of 2017? We’ve been pushing on our focus and velocity like never before, and the result is a FIFA with hyper-realistic gameplay. By announcing the next FIFA before we had the game for ourselves, we could provide feedback before release to improve gameplay. We also wanted to ensure that we were delivering the best experience possible for FIFA fans. We didn’t have a chance to share the progress of our next game when the world was focused on FIFA 17. Why are we announcing FIFA 18 at E3 2016? We’ll have more information at E3, but we won’t be able to share too much with you at this time. While we look to the end of the year to bring the first version of FIFA into your hands, we’re delivering an action-packed FIFA that will be playable this year. Why did we announce in June 2017 that FIFA 17 will not be playable on any platform until the last quarter of 2017?
